Warm Red Micro Fleece Blanket

It has suddenly become really cold in the evenings here. After a gorgeous summer and mild Autumn we are starting to feel the cold. I am aware that in some countries there is already a huge fall of snow. 

So as I sit here in front of a roaring fire I started to think about what would be warm and cosy at this time. I found this lovely  blanket, throw in red and thought that would be perfect! 

 A beautiful red throw is really warming and lovely for the winter time. In our living room we bring in a red rug and warm coloured throws and blankets and it really does make a difference to the feel of a room.

If you normally have a very neutral bedroom or a white bedroom, then a touch of red in a throw like this can really warm up the look and feel of the bedroom for the winter.

It is machine washable on a cold cycle so no worries if the kids drag it on the floor or the cat or dog decide that its a nice place to curl up in! Drying is a breeze as you can tumble dry on low and my fave comment is "do not iron". 

This warm red blanket would make a great gift over Christmas or for a winter birthday, even a thoughtful housewarming present if you know anyone who is moving house this time of year.
